A Matter of Degrees: Preparing Teachers for the Pre-K Classroom

Teacher effectiveness is among the most important factors impacting the quality of
pre-kindergarten programs. When teachers hold a bachelor’s degree and have specialized training in early childhood education, they are better able to support children’s healthy development and school readiness.
