SOAR is partnering with Children’s Home Society of Washington, the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department, and Cascadia Training to present a workshop on adolescent brain development, featuring Dr. Julie Rosenzweig, PhD, from Portland State University.
This workshop will provide an
overview of brain structure and function; brain development specific during
adolescence; effects of trauma on the brain and mind; and implications for
effectively working with adolescents.
