Anderson

Hear from and talk with child development expert Dr. Patricia Nan Anderson, author of Parenting: A Field Guide. Get tips, advice and ideas to help make your child’s earliest years in school a great success!

About the Author:

Dr. Patricia Nan Anderson is an expert in child development, with over 30 years of experience and a doctorate in Educational Psychology. Before deciding to devote her energies exclusively to the development of parents and families, she was a professor of Early Childhood Education at National-Louis University and also a first grade teacher. Her latest book, Parenting: A Field Guide, helps parents identify their own values and re-invent commonsense methods of raising children.

Program tailored to families of children age birth to eight.

The Children’s Section of the Library will also feature a separate activity for children so that parents can listen and participate in the adult presentation.
