2009 Early Learning Community Fair

The Foundation for Early Learning is teaming up with coalitions, libraries, partner organizations, parents, community groups, and others to host the second annual Washington State Early Learning Community Fair. The Fair will begin on Saturday, August 8 and will include celebrations at over 190 locations stretching across the state - from Spokane to Sequim, Walla Walla, to Wenatchee and throughout the Puget Sound.

Coordinated by the Foundation for Early Learning, communities are encouraged to work together to plan events and activities that encourage early learning.

The goal of the Early Learning Community Fair is to help parents, caregivers, and residents learn more about and connect with the many organizations, programs, tools, publications, and activities in local communities that support early learning.

The Foundation for Early Learning will provide participants with marketing materials, Getting School Ready!® booklets, resources from partner organizations, and will promote the event to media outlets and attendees across the state.
